So recently some of the staff including myself have cracked down and began working together towards making things greater for the community and to hopefully drag more players in and back to Sneyersul. The only relatively important stuff I’m going to post here is towards mainly Skyblock replacement and a plan for the Survival Server. 

Skyblock replacement: So far we’ve brought up two different possible ideas for it which would be, what Rock had posted separately in the general discussion, a gladiator arena server which you can find out more on if you look into it after reading through this, and replacing it with larger scale plots. The gladiator arena would be mainly made for the players of survival, whereas if we added in larger scale plots, it’d mean more room for people to build, make pixel art, role-play, etc. It’d give you more space depending on the size we’d make them which hasn’t been discussed due to not knowing what the community would want, so we’re leaving this all up for you. But there would be many possibilities and opportunities. 

Survival Plan: As for this, it’s pretty much self explanatory. So a possibility in the server being reset and/or reset and updated. I do know that a majority of people will dislike the thought of it being updated, but some of might. coughcough. There isn’t really much for myself to discus so I’ll leave the rest for you all to comment back on what you’d like because that is what we want to know the most. I may possibly edit this later with a poll attached below for people to vote on what they believe should be done.

Apart from all this, is there anything you’d want done for creative or possibly anything else? feel free to let us all know below and we’ll get back to you asap on your request and/or question you’d like answered. I’ll be giving links to previous posts people have made in the suggestions section on possible ideas we could have for the Skyblock replacement including an open world for building and possibly for role-plays as well, mini-games and also Rock’s post on the gladiator arena and the original post made on the replacement of the server.

Haven't seen the forums in awhile.

I support Aoal's and Nochacho's suggestions. I do think we need minigames. It doesn't have be a whole server dedicated to it, but more of a side thing for something bigger. Like creative and blockhunt, that was fun. (Bring back blockhunt!) 

The players and staff could come up with ideas for new and original minigames. (I suppose Pat would then have to code it..) Or existing minigames that they think are swell. 

Then there's my movecraft suggestion. https://sneyersul.eu/forums.php?t=16488 I still think it would be fun to ride stuff around. Though I don't quite know how it could tie in with factions gameplay. Perhaps it could used for a minigame?

I'm not entirely sure seeing as we haven't been given a whole lot of feedback. 

I'd personally prefer the server to stay in 1.8, because 1.9 has a lot more cons than pros in my opinion. The PvP is a lot different and some of the items make it harder to do things than in 1.8. Therefore, it'd make 1.9 quite boring (this is my opinion).

I was going to reset it in June, but to be honest, I have pretty much lost interest in Minecraft. That, coupled with the fact that we have hardly received any feedback on these changes, makes it difficult to find the motivation to put more time into the server.

There was another thread that I put a lot of detail into a suggestion for the reset(The link can be found here). It was the one that Jake posted (I think). It'd be a shame to not see the survival server reset because although there hasn't been a lot of feedback, we are all quite hyped for it.

I believe part of the problem was that a lot of the bigger factions abused the exploit, and as a result were put into debt that they couldn't recover from. I agree that it was the right course of action, but due to it a lot of people have pretty much quit and waited for the reset. A lot of these people also do not get on the forums very often at all. I hate to argue with you, and I get where you're coming from with losing the drive to put effort into the server, but I think more people are interested in the survival server being reset than you think.

Also taking account into what Toxic said, we all are indeed quite hyped for it.
