Much Suggestion, Very Idea.


I have several ideas for the creative server.

  • /effect for command blocks. This would be useful for my parkour any I think many people would like it too.
  • /summon for command blocks. Mostly for armour stands. It would be cool if we could summon armour stands with clothing. The attributes that I have seen is were you can make it invisible,
  • have arms, and limbs raised and rotated. (Pose)
  • Going along with /summon, frozen mobs. (No AI.) If we could use /summon for frozen mobs there could be many more creative creation. A more tricky way to make this work is if you could spawn frozen mobs out of the egg? Kind of a long shot. (Make the command simpler rather than /summon Sheep ~ ~1 ~ {No AI:1})
  • /playsound working for all players near the block instead of the closest player.
  • Couldn't you fix having /up place glass on blocks you aren't added to? Why does that work on plots that are not yours but not other "No Wand" commands? The only other way to do this is to stack up a 200 block pillar.
  • Colors in books?
  • Beacons.
  • More disguises besides mobs?

That's about it for now. Some of these would be tricky to implement, but they would be great to have.

  2. Mobs would not be added, regardless of the no AI or not; armour stands with clothing on them... I don't know what you mean.
  3. In tandem with #2, is that for the summon?

  5. Every player can hear the sound directly; there is no limit on how many can or cannot hear it.
  6. Pat will have to answer that one.
  7. We did but with modified books causing players to crash it was removed.
  8. Beacons are allowed; you might not be able to place them anymore due to resulting lag since people liked to spam out active beacons.
  9. It would result in us adding /disguise player [playername] and frankly we don't want impersonations.

People are able to get a beacon/s from schematics and I don't see why the armour stands need to be spawned in with clothing when you can put it on yourself.

I can get behind this, but there would have to be an option for players to "opt out" of being affected by these effects. They can get annoying if you're simply wandering around, especially since the potion effects will still be active after you leave the plot.

 /playsound working for all players near the block instead of the closest player.

 The current playsound plays the sound in the nearest player's location, and only to that player. I can add a new command that instead plays the sound in a target location and can be heard by all nearby players (on the plot).

Edit: This has now been added; /commandblock set playsoundat.

WorldEdit's /up command ignores global masks, so there's not much I can do about this one without changing the internals of WorldEdit.

Edit: A recent update to PlotMe fixed this, you can now use /up on plots that you are added to.

Thanks for responding. What I mean about /summon is armour stands cannot be spawned with /setblock since they are a entity and not a block. So I was thinking you could spawn armour stands from a command block.
