You aren't muted and you never were. I'm guessing you've disabled chat in the settings. Go to Options --> Multiplayer Settings and make sure that it says "Chat: Shown." http://i.imgur.com/p1R3q5z.png

Oh I did't know i could disable the chat.....it was probably my sister when she was on it...Thank you pat and I am very sorry!
