I had a idea recently about making a custom launcher for this server now before anyone says anything the launcher WILL NOT need any server side things so people will be able to use the normal mc launcher like they all ways have and the launcher will not split the community or anything because it just tweaks Minecraft to be slightly better these changes would include a few client side mods such as shaders which can be switched on so people do not need to bother installing them a few other mods like the camera mod for doing cinematics and a minimap world edit cui for helping with world edit etc it would also include things like some texture packs and would of course have optfine the project would be open source and the code would be free for anyone to use and read so if people have any worries about there security of there mc accounts it would also include some performance improvements to help the game run better the is also room in the future to add things like a sneyersul texture pack which people could use all over the server if you think this would be a good idea I could get a realse out in a couple of days sorry for a wall of text.

the launcher is done with auto update feature just adding a launcher update feature and putting the mods in and should be ready for a first realse.

I like this idea, although it does sound like a lot of work. Do you have any experience making custom launchers?

The launcher is done if you would like a pic of it then i can attach one just having slight problem right now with mods corrupting on download but apart from that the update system log in system and proxy ram and custom arguments have been added and are all working also currently working on a way to get the launcher it self to update not just he pack but apart from that it is done.

i have fixed the problem with mods so apart from the actual client exe updateing everything is done so if you have any ideas for mods you want apart from sort of the ones above or a mod you defentily dont wont in i will take it now wile i am build the mod list.
