hai i was just wondering why beacons are disabled because i have come across lots of occacations when i needed a beacon for parkour maps and stuff

There's two reasons why we decided to remove beacons.

1. Some players used to build walls of beacons around their plots which would cause client-side lag.
2. The effects from beacons affect everyone in a radius, which means that players on nearby plots also receive the effects even if they don't want to.

Can't you just set home?
