Server transfer

Hello there! Since I have today off I'll use the time to transfer to a new physical server.

I plan to transfer one (minecraft) server at a time so that the transition is as smooth as possible. Cheers.

Ah sorry, I'll try to make it more clear. I just ordered a new physical server, as in a computer, that we're transferring everything to. It is located in the same data center as the old server but has slightly different specifications. Everything will be transferred so there's no need to worry about losing plots or anything. :)

The reason I decided to change server is that the previous one was a bit overkill in terms of hardware in comparison to the size of our playerbase. Sort of like renting a space shuttle to go to your local supermarket. :P

Everything should now have been transferred successfully. If you find anything amiss, please let me know either by posting on the forums or sending me an email at [email protected]. Thanks!

A 32 GB RAM and 1 GB/s uplink is a space shuttle indeed.

A 16 GB RAM and a 100 MB/s uplink sounds more suitable. And cheaper.
