Graphics driver outdated. (Not really about the server, I just need help.)
Posted 11 years ago My graphics driver got uninstalled. Now games and many things do not work. Everything says my video card is is outdated. I am not sure what one to download on the site. When I tried downloading GeForce it failed at the check compatibility part. I have Windows 7 Ultimate with Intel Pentium 4. Please help me redownload it |
Posted 11 years ago 1. Go to Windows search in bottom left and type 'DxDiag' and open the application 2. When it launches go to the second tab called 'Display 1' 3. Reply back to this thread with the details pasted and I'll link you to the driver |

Posted 11 years ago Urr try typing in device manager and then go to 'display adapters' |
Posted 11 years ago I don't seem to have a "Display Adapter" section. Should I try doing the same with the provided VGA instead of my video card? |
Posted 11 years ago you most likely have an integrated gpu, something like an Intel GMA. Are you sure you have a dedicated graphics card? And plug the VGA into the graphics card not the motherboard or you'll be using the wrong gpu |
Posted 11 years ago I believe it is an integrated graphics card. The VGA was plugged into the graphics card. I will try doing a system restore to see if I can go back to a time where the program was still installed.

Posted 11 years ago I found it to be a NVIDIA/BFG Tech card. Probably GeForce. A problem is that there are a thousand GeForce Versions. Also, thanks Jack for taking your time to help me. |
