Yet again the survival server has tried to kill my computer. Its exactly what was happening before and its really annoying me. Anyways I'll try what i can to fix it in the meantime.

Do you have an anti x-ray plugin on the server, cuz if so i think its causing my lag.

Yes we do. I never even thought that it would become an issue for clients, but it could very well be the cause of the lag you've been experiencing.

If you want to help us investigate further, you could post your results from www.speedtest.net and Speccy.

Maybe a minecraft crash log (if it does crash) could help.

Also, are you experiencing this in the spawn area? if so it could be the builds that cause your lag.

Turns out this was caused by a specific texture/resource pack. Problem solved. :)
