Local difficulty was a concept introduced in 1.7, which makes it harder the longer you live in one place by making mobs more powerful. However, this has no effect on easy difficulty, and I was wondering if you could turn the difficulty to normal or hard, or create/use a plugin that implements local difficulty on easy.
