On survival, I tried to set  my nickname as several things, but each time it says 'You must be VIP in order to change your nickname. To become VIP type /buy' 

So could anyone help with that?

If you're still unable to change your nickname on survival, what does it say when you type /ws uuid?

It just gives me 'UUID:" then blank

That's odd. I'll look into fixing this after the 1.8 update. In the meanwhile, please use /emergency setnick <nickname> when you want to change your nickname and I'll change it for you as soon as I can.

I decided to push an update before 1.8. Does /setnick work properly now?
