Ok 1.8 is coming out very soon so i have a few questions for survival about 1.8

1. When do you guys think itll be updated?

Im wondering this mostly because it took a long time to update to 1.7

2. Will there be a new map?

I hope there isnt as I like the world we have right now and the only changes for the world are the ocean monuments I belive.

3. could we get rid of the world boarder?

Ok that world boarder is like the only thing i dont like about the nw survival and yes i get why it was added but 1.8 generates chunks alot faster so i think it would be ok to remove it plus people are gonna want to find the ocean monuments! Sponges!!! MUST HAVE THEMMMM

1. Well, it all depends on how much time it takes for Bukkt/Spigot to release a functional update. Support for 1.8 clients to connect to the server should be added pretty quickly, but full 1.8 support with ocean monuments and stuff might take weeks.

2. We're definitely sticking with the current map and aren't planning on switching any time soon.

3. Nope. :D However, we'll consider extending the border to generate an ocean monument or two.

We'd only have two; and likewise, you can easily buy the gold from the shop without the hassle, and finding gold isn't that hard to do if you take time into actually mining.
