Posted 10 years ago @Puttemulle How does that work? :O |
Posted 10 years ago It's okay, I've bribed the officers. >:) @Springwork As you might already know, the Minecraft client can't play any sounds that didn't come with the game. So to get around this, the guard will get a link in chat which they can choose to open or not. If they do, all the game sounds will be sent to their browser in the background. If the guard doesn't click the link, the sounds will be played in-game as usual. |
Posted 10 years ago What about the latency? as you know us eurofags get massive ping  |
Posted 10 years ago Just managed to send the first sound from Minecraft to my web browser. The latency isn't terrible, actually. For me, as a eurofag, it took roughly 300 ms (measured by hand) from running a command until I could hear the sound. When the sounds are sent directly from the server, the latency should be around half of that if I'm not mistaken. :) |

Posted 10 years ago I thought a cool idea would be to literally just use one of my homes as a blockhunt map! 1 like |

Posted 10 years ago Yeah, there's been multiple tributes for new blockhunt maps, but I had to disable the game due to a pretty big issue. Fixing it would require a major rewrite and I'm not really motivated enough to put the time into it. Back to FNAF, the minigame has received an update with a few new features;
I feel like we're getting close to the release now. :) I would like to hear your opinions on balancing, though. Is the music box unwinding too quickly, and how much slower should it be in that case? Should there be a timeout feature in the air vents and the area just before the office so that animatronics can't camp the guard? Your feedback is greatly appreciated! :) |
