AAAAH NEW MINIGAME THINGY
Posted 10 years ago Issue is, some people don't have scroll wheels, me being one of em. (pff trackpad) Also, we might need a separate chat. Mainly cause of how spammy some peeps get. I dont want some people getting reported because they got too excited over the course of 4 seconds. |
Posted 10 years ago I have an Idea. How about the number keys on top of the keyboard? Press 1 for Camera 1. 2 for camera 2. 3 for Camera 3. etc. We could have a list or something they could refer to in the office. But, the scroll is a great idea. HOW DO YOU EVEN PLAY WITHOUT A MOUSE? |
Posted 10 years ago @Sodapop Yeah, that's an issue. I'll definitely think about adding a separate chat. @Springwork Nice thinking, though the problem is that there are 12 cameras and only 9 buttons/slots. How about just clicking 1 to go to the previous camera and 2 to go to the next? |
Posted 10 years ago Maybe load up a selection menu and use the arrow keys to scroll between them? And escape to exit the camera? But then again using 1 and 2 is good too.
|
Posted 10 years ago A selection menu as in an inventory? Sadly, the server can't detect when the arrow keys are pressed. The key presses that it can detect include the number keys (1-9), shift, q, scrolling and left-/right-clicking. Additionally, if an inventory is open it can detect left- and right-clicking, but none of the other keys. It's pretty limited in what you can do since there is still no official modding API from Mojang... :/ |
Posted 10 years ago Pressing 1 to go the previous and 2 to go to the next sounds like a nice idea. And we could have the words that come up when the animatronic enters the room as well when using this. |
Posted 10 years ago Playing as guard is pretty difficult at the moment. I feel that the marionette unwinds too quickly.
|
Posted 10 years ago The guard can now use 1 and 2 to switch between cameras. I'll add those words like you suggested as well, Springwork. And yes, both the battery capacity and music box unwinding speed definitely need to be overlooked. |
Posted 10 years ago Since the sounds from FNAF 2 are royalty free, I'm working on a way to play the real sounds via your browser, much like how The Hive's BlockParty minigame does. |
Posted 10 years ago Cool!
(Did pat just advertise?!? :OOOO) NOVA! |
