Well, I'd like to itterate something. Everyone is saying something along the lines of being able to defend your Faction to store the goods and keep anything not for the shop there, but think about this. If a person decides to own a shop, but they're not in a Faction, you have no defendable claim on your original statement--which if you change because you know this is a really good argument then I don't see the point of arguing with communistic socialists.

This is coming from a player who's in the second strongest faction on the server and still decides to store all his valuables in his unraidable player shop.

No, your argument sucks. This isn't a peaceful Towny server - it's a Factions server. Raiding is part of the game. Nothing should be fully protected and therefore, as we now have realized, the idea of having protected plots as player shops wasn't a very bright one.

The question isn't whether or not there is an issue with the current setup, because there definitely is. The question is how to solve it and if it's at all possible to solve without removing the player shops entirely.

The funny fact that this is not really Pat is what gets me, we all know Pat doesn't talk like that and the only person who would have such relentless eagerness to keep their personal life out of their professional life on the server would be, well I won't mention names, but all positions between admin and owner. And, "Pat" I find it funny how you think editing direct quotes for a comment of yours is going to assist the matter in a positive manner. Don't aviod the fact that you know it would be quite possible for a person who wants to own a shop and not be in a Faction. You should find it incumbent to reconsider your judgment of perspective into other people's lives, however I don't think you don't reserve the right to set place any rules. Given that there is no form of government in this server, except that there are communistic traits, without personal opinions or objections (not disagreeing with me, myself, and I) and we may as well call this server some form of government because if you care enough about your citizens, Pat, you will tell us your formal position instead of a label (Owner) in front of your name. (e.g.) Dictator, President, Leader, etc.
