Alright well, I'll try to explain it as thoroughly as possible. Open up Minecraft. Click "New Profile" (First image) Enter Profile Name, for example "1.5.2". Select "release 1.5.2" as the version to be used. Then click Save Profile. (Second image) Select the profile you just created. Enter your username and password, and click Play. (Third image) It should now download 1.5.2 and launch the game.
