Zara zara zara......prepare for a lecture. Ghosts cant touch humans or objects and humans cant touch ghosts. This is due to ghosts exsisting outside this material realm in the afterlife as it were. Meaning that ghosts are inbetween the two dimensions which is why they can be seen but not interact with objects. Ut takes a lot of energy for a ghost to manifest itself. Eg a ghost might only be able to throw objects or whisper and appesr as mist. When a lot of ghosts try to manifest itself in one area it creates an energy flux. These areas are where a lot of people die.      

Tere are some rituals that can banish ghosts and such. Ghosts can also bind their own energy to an object. And........the point is that you cant slap people unless you have enoigh energy to fully manifest yourself and josh   couldnt slap you but could banish you.
