At U Can't Just Downgrade Minecraft You Need to get minecraft forge 1.6.2 that's how it worked for me or just have had magic launcher at the time of 1.6.2 and u can down update

You can upgrade and downgrade with a few clicks with the new minecraft launcher. You don't need any 3rd party software to do so.

I know right Pat i use the other versions for testing stuffz (like what sethbling or Mcunivers or even sy and deadlox) So i just use 1.6.2 ALWAYS (i call it the best update =3)
