I'm pretty certain that there is an attribute that speeds up the cooldown, this can be used to basically eliminate the cooldown retaining the daul weilding, while keeping the 1.8 style of pvp.

Survival reset, now. Survival is insanely boring now as people have somehow sprouted money trees. People that have only played for 4 hours already have 1 million. Leaving money, pointless.

To reset it would mean I... er, we would have to come to a agreement on how we'd go about doing it. What would be kept, what wouldn't etc.

UPDATE

Currently this is what we have set up and thought out for the survival reset~

1. Debts will be cleared. (If it is a server reset, it is possible for all player balances as well as gears to be cleared as well)

2. Pets will be able to teleport with their owners when not tied/sat down.

3. Enderchests MAY or MAY not be cleared.

4. Were thinking of converting the Skyblock server into a survival gladiator arena server, where people from the Survival server, enter with their OWN gear, and play a FREE FOR ALL inside of an arena, and the winner takes all! They’ll just type like /warp arena and be transferred there with a pending time countdown on when the match will start, they can bring anything they want (THIS CAN MEAN PEOPLE CAN TEAM UP AND IF THEIR TEAM MATE WINS, HE SHARES THE LOOT, AS WELL AS APPROPRIATE FACTION WARS! BE CREATIVE! OR SURVIVAL :P)

5. We saw your suggestions for MCMMO, we will further discuss it

6. We are currently not sure when the exact date of the reset will be, or whether it will a server reset or not.

7. Shop will be redone

We are freely accepting suggestions on what you think you and other players will enjoy in our survival server, feel free to post up and tell us what kind of concept you would like most implemented! (PS. Please make it doable.)

I personally have a few suggestions:

• If the server's going to be reset, please reset everything. People could get a headstart if they had their plot/enderchest still.
• I also think some events should be hosted each week such as a PvP Event or a minigame, and the winner gets some sort of prize?
• This is just a possibility, but I doubt it'd happen anyway as it's such an extreme change but custom enchants could attract more players to the server. This would therefore make it more interesting when players engage in combat, although it could make some negative changes to the server, so I don't know really...
